Distress Technique Class with Ren

In this class you will make eight tags that showcase different techniques using Ranger Distress products. Ren will lead you through the different ways to add pigments to your tags, then enhance them so you can use the knowledge for other future art.
If you have ever been curious about the world of Tim Holtz Distress line this is a great class to help sate that interest. Likewise, if you have some knowledge of the line but want to learn how to include the different elements to create something with impact, this is a great class for that too.

The session is very hands-on and can get messy so be sure to wear something comfortable but not precious in case it is splattered or smudged.

A break is planned for 1pm so feel free to bring a lunch or snack, or food deliveries are welcome at the studio if you like.

Due to the nature of the Distress products the items that you create will not be exactly like the sample items. Your class kit does not include ribbons for the tags.

This is a very supply heavy class so please be sure to check the list and ask any questions that you might have.

Supplies Needed:  Non-stick craft mat (absolutely required for the class) / Baby Wipes / A Paper Towel roll or Soft Cloth / Pencil and Eraser / Distress Blending Tool & Foam (it is helpful to have many of the blending tools handy) / Distress Sprayer or Squirt Bottle / Small Paint Brush / Pen / Stamps of your choice and the Tools needed to stamp / Embossing Powder in Clear AND Black / Embossing Ink / High Heat Tool / Scissors / Wet Glue that dries clear / Double Sided Tape / Heat It Tongs / Water Brush / a Stencil of your choice / an Embossing Folder you like (preferably one with flowers) / Distress Ink  and Oxide Pads of your choice (a comprehensive list will be sent with the colors used on the samples closer to class) / A Distress Spray or Oxide Spray of you choice / Palette Knife / Distress Crayon in a dark color

Optional Items:   Gloves / Distressing Tool / Splatter Brush / Embossing Buddy
