Come to the studio for a day of creativity with Ren as she leads you through the steps of making a fabric snippet roll.

A strip of cloth decorated in shabby chic style. Full of frilliness made with soft fabrics, laces, and luscious trims; accented with charms and beading, wrapped around a wooden spool.

Your finished project will vary from the class sample since it will reflect your style choices.
Your kit will include:
A wooden spool, fabric swatches (featuring Frank’s Parisian Snippet Fabric line and others), a selection of ribbons, textiles, trims, beads, charms, and other accent pieces.

Supplies Required for Clas:
Craft Mat – a must have to craft in the studio
Sewing Needle, Needle Threader, Thimble (highly suggested), Seam Ripper, White or Cream colored thread, A dark color thread – Navy or Brown,  Pinking Shears (zig zag teeth), Regular Scissors, Ribbon Scissors, Candle in a Votive Holder, Matches or Lighter, Ruler, Acrylic or Wood Stamp Block (to use as a weight), Wet Glue that dries clear, Lint Roller

if you do not want to hand sew all of your clusters and accents (except for beads and charms) you will need a fabric glue that dries clear (Fabri-Tac, Aleene’s Fabric Fusion, Coccoina, etc.)

Optional Items:
Clips or Straight Pins and a Pin Cusion, a Beading Needle, any special items that you’d like to add to your snippet (different fabrics, jewel pieces, or charms other than what comes in your kit),

If you have a sewing machine that you can easily bring to class, you may want to do so.
Otherwise there will be a slight waiting time for the one that will be available.

Due to the detailed nature of this project, we will not complete the project in the class session.

A lunch break is planned for 1:30pm. Please feel free to bring your lunch to the studio, or you can order something to be delivered if you like.
